Paint the Planet Pink Fall Events

Paint the Planet Pink®, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 2014 as Paint Pittston Pink® and rebranded at the end of 2023.  New name, new logo, same mission—“bringing the community together to support a cure for ALL cancers through research and clinical trials.” To date, our organization has donated $1,002,000 directly to cancer research at both The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and The Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.

September 16–17, 2025 | 11 AM–4 PM – Celebration of Life Blood Drive

The blood drive will be held at The University of Scranton and is held in memory of Greg Policare, Lisa Jones Kutra, and Grian Musto.

September 20, 2025 | 9 AM – Mass & Award Ceremony

The presentation of The Award for Courage, The Survivor Award, and The Celebration of Life Award will be held at The Cathedral of St. Peter in Scranton.

September 20, 2025 | 11 AM – 12th Annual Color Me Pink Run/Walk

Participate in the 12th Annual Color Me Pink 5K Run and Fun Walk, followed by the Gentlemen’s Dash. The event will start at Backyard Ale House.

September 28, 2025 | 2 PM – Purse Bingo

Attend the Paint the Planet Pink Purse Bingo at St. Maria Goretti Banquet Hall.

September 28, 2025 | 6 PM – Soprano’s Trivia Night

Love trivia? Come on out to Paint the Planet Pink Soprano’s Trivia Night with Trivia Master Brad and Meat Raffle at Sabatini’s Bottleshop.

October 3, 2025 | 7 PM – Celebrity Bartending and Awards

Johnson College Set to Host Power Tools & Purse Bingo in February

Johnson College will hold a Power Tools & Purse Bingo fundraiser on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Moffat Student Center, on its Scranton campus located at 3427 Main Avenue, Scranton. This one-of-a-kind event will offer attendees the chance to win premium power tools and designer purses, all while supporting Johnson College students.

Doors will open at 1:00 p.m., with the first bingo game beginning promptly at 2:00 p.m. This limited-capacity event is restricted to just 200 guests, so early reservations are encouraged.

Event Highlights Include:

  • Over $10,000 in valuable prizes, including professional-grade power tools from industry leaders such as Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, and more.
  • Designer purses from top brands like Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, and Kate Spade.
  • Ten regular bingo rounds, including two grand prize rounds (one for a power tool and one for a designer purse, with a total prize value of up to $4,000).
  • “4 Specials Games” available for purchase.
  • A 50/50 raffle for additional prizes.
  • Food and beverages available for purchase (outside food & alcohol not permitted).

Individual tickets are available for $45, or $50 at the door. For an exclusive experience, VIP tables for 10 guests are also available for $450 (valued at $550), which include 10 game packs, 10 “Swag Bags,” and 10 vouchers for special game bingos.

United Neighborhood Centers to Host Purse Bingo

The United Neighborhood Centers of Northeaster Pennsylvania will host a designer purse bingo.

The event will take place on Sunday April 30 at 1:00PM. Doors open at 12:00PM

The event will be held at Holy Cross High School in Dunmore.

The cost to attend the event is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

20 games with additional purchases available for 3 bingo specials, basket raffles, door prices, basket sales, refreshments and daubers while supplies last.

This is a BYOB event. Players are welcome to bring their own food and alcoholic beverages.
