Marywood University Sets Summer Open House

Marywood University will hold a summer undergraduate open house for high school students and their parents on Saturday, July 13, 2024, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Fireplace Lounge at the Nazareth Student Center on the University’s campus, and the last campus tour departs at 1:45 p.m. A complementary continental breakfast and lunch are included in the event.

During the open house, prospective students can walk through the student services & organizations fair and find out how Marywood students fit in and have fun on campus. In addition, students will be able to explore various majors at an academic fair, learn more about the admissions process, visit an academic department of their choice and spend some time with faculty, as well as chat with varsity coaches and tour Marywood’s campus.

LIFE Geisinger Hosting Open Houses Across Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania

LIFE Geisinger locations are hosting open houses for employees and the community this spring. The open houses will feature tours of the facility, giveaways, refreshments and informal ways to learn about the LIFE Geisinger program.

“We’re looking forward to opening our doors to our community members,” said Teena Kubasti, director of LIFE Geisinger. “Here at LIFE, we build stronger seniors — and these events let us showcase how our participants benefit. Guests will be able to meet our compassionate, experienced team members who coordinate care for those we serve, offering caregivers relief and support.”

Geisinger Kulpmont will host an open house at a later time.

Misericordia University to Host Virtual Open House for Expressway Program

Misericordia University is hosting a virtual open house on December 12 at 6:00 P.M.  

The program is designed for working adults who want to earn their degree in a timely manner, have prior college credits (not required), and have work or relevant life experience. Students can enroll and start taking classes 6 times during the year, not just in the fall and spring.

Johnson College Hazleton will hold its first-ever student and community Open House on Thursday, July 27, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the CAN DO Training Center located inside the Humboldt Industrial Park at 370 Maplewood Drive in Hazle Township.
