Johnson College receives final contribution from Peoples Security Bank & Trust for innovation campaign Johnson College received a final $30,000 contribution from Peoples Security Bank & Trust, completing the bank’s $150,000 commitment to the College’s Innovation at Work Capital Campaign. Through its support of the campaign, Peoples Security Bank & Trust helped Johnson College make significant investments in its campus and educational programs, providing students with modern learning spaces, technology and equipment. The Innovation at Work Capital Campaign was a $5 million initiative focused on supporting continued growth and student success at Johnson College. The campaign supported the construction of Ideal Saldi Hall, expansion of the building trades labs, which became Bracey Hall, and the College’s Annual Fund and student scholarships. These investments have strengthened Johnson College’s ability to provide students with the education, technology and resources needed to prepare for successful careers. Wayne Bank makes EITC donation to Scranton Public Library Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has supported the Scranton Public Library through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). The Scranton Public Library accepted a donation of $3,500 from Chris Moshinskie, Scranton Office Manager, and Valerie Faves, Personal Banker at Wayne Bank. The Dime Bank names 2026 scholarship recipients The Dime Bank has awarded scholarships to six students from local school districts in honor of their academic achievements and leadership potential. This year’s recipients are Genevieve Neenan from Wallenpaupack attending Syracuse University, Timothy Jason from Delaware Valley attending Penn State, Mia Tallo from West Scranton attending Penn State, Megan Hartman from Scranton attending Penn State, Trevor Dressler from Wayne Highlands attending Shippensburg University, and Simon Kowalchuk-Swartz from Wayne Highlands attending Queen’s University in Kingston. To qualify for the scholarship, students have to be pursuing higher education in business, economics, finance, management or accounting. Kennedy will begin her new role on July 20. Wayne Bank announces leadership transition Wayne Bank has announced that its Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Vinny O’Bell is retiring at the end of October 2026, and Steve Daniels will take over the role. As part of the bank’s succession plan, Daniels will take over O’Bell’s duties on July 20, 2026. Daniels has worked at Wayne Bank since 2011 and will work closely with O’Bell over the coming months to ensure a seamless transition. O’Bell has worked in banking for 47 years.

Jessica Spare Joins HNB as VP, Commercial Loan Officer Thomas E. From there she progressed to CSR, Credit Analyst, Portfolio Manager, Small Business Lender, and eventually Commercial Loan Officer. She will continue at HNB as VP, Commercial Loan Officer. In this role, she is responsible for the development and management of commercial loan customers to establish long-term banking relationships in the Luzerne County market. In describing her recent move to HNB, Spare said, “I am excited to be a part of the HNB family! It is clear to see that everyone works together as a team and supports each other to achieve success!” Spare is a member of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and the Hazleton Area High School Baseball Booster Club. She currently serves as Chair of a Women in Business Planning sub-committee along with a number of other leadership roles in the community. FNCB Announces Staff Promotions FNCB, locally-based since 1910, today announced several staff promotions. Michael Cummings, CFMP, Senior Vice President, Marketing Manager Michael Cummings, CFMP, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Marketing Manager where he is responsible for managing all aspects of the Marketing function for the Bank, including strategic planning, digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and social media. Mr. Cummings has held numerous marketing roles since joining FNCB in 2011. Most recently, he was Vice President, Marketing Manager. Prior to joining the Bank, he spent 20 years in professional baseball as the Director of Public Relations for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons and Yankees. He is a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and the University of Scranton where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. In 2018, he was awarded the Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) certification from the American Bankers Association for demonstrated excellence in the field of financial services marketing. An active member of the community, he has served as a youth soccer and softball coach and currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Scranton Redevelopment Authority. He resides in Scranton with his wife Wendy, son Andrew and daughter Elizabeth. Jeffrey Mokychic, Vice President, Treasury Manager Jeffrey Mokychic has been promoted to Vice President, Treasury Manager where he is responsible for managing daily liquidity and forecast longer-term liquidity position, developing, and implementing wholesale funding strategies, and assisting with the management of the Bank’s investment portfolio. Mr. Mokychic joined FNCB in 2016 and most recently was Assistant Vice President, Treasury Manager. Prior to joining the Bank, he spent 15 years with the Bridgeton Group. He currently serves as the Education Superintendent at Orange United Methodist Church in Dallas, PA where he resides. Daisy Geisinger, Assistant Vice President, Application Services Analyst Daisy Geisinger has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Application Services Analyst where she is responsible for providing support and management for a wide variety of bank-wide applications. Prior to joining the applications services team in 2014, Ms. Geisinger had extensive experience in bank operations and applications with ESSA Bank and Franklin Security Bank. Prior to joining FNCB in 2018 as a Merchant Service Associate, he held various sales positions for companies in northeastern Pennsylvania.
