Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jamie Polley to Assistant Vice President, Payroll Officer.

In her role, Jamie oversees all aspects of employee payroll, maintains employee records, and administers benefits and compensation programs, helping to ensure compliance, efficiency, and consistency across the organization.

Jamie joined Wayne Bank in 2014 and brings more than 15 years of human resources experience to our team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Administration from the University of Scranton. Jamie resides in Lake Ariel with her two children, Mia and Frank.

Wayne Bank Promotes Kennedy to Senior VP, PA Retail Banking Market Manager

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce Deborah Kennedy’s promotion to Senior Vice President and PA Retail Banking Market Manager.

In this role, Deb leads the Bank’s profitability, development, and growth across the PA market. She oversees the delivery and support of all banking services, including lending and other financial products. Through her strong leadership, strategic insight, and customer-focused approach, Deb guides the Bank’s PA offices with positive energy, innovative thinking, and a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Deb brings more than twenty years of banking experience to her role and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from King’s College, along with a Master of Business Administration from Capella University. Deeply committed to service, she consistently places her community and the people around her at the forefront of her work. Deb serves as Co-Chair of the Scranton Diocese Catholic Women’s Conference, where she is widely recognized for her dedication to giving back and inspiring others through leadership and service. She is past President of Abington Rotary and the Abington Heights Civic League and has served in various leadership positions for both organizations. Deb resides in South Abington Township with her husband, John, and together they have three children and six grandchildren.

Wayne Bank Announces the Hiring of Donald Sutton

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce the hiring of Donald (“Don”) Sutton as Vice President and Information Technology Manager.

“I am thrilled to welcome Don to the Wayne Bank team,” said Donnelly. “His extensive experience in the IT field, combined with his passion for innovation and leadership make him a tremendous asset to our organization. With his expertise, we will continue to advance our technology initiatives and elevate the experience for our customers and employees.”

As Vice President and Information Technology Manager, Don oversees the Bank’s IT Department, leads strategic technology initiatives, and ensures the continued stability, security, and growth of the bank’s information systems. His responsibilities include managing day-to-day IT operations, implementing technology enhancements, and mentoring staff to support professional development and operational excellence.

Don brings 28 years of experience in the information technology field, including leadership roles in network management, cybersecurity, and systems integration across both the financial and corporate sectors.

Don is actively involved in his community, volunteering as the live stream coordinator for the Fall Music Festival at Dorflinger and the Spring Thaw Fundraiser, where he supports local nonprofit initiatives through technology and media production.

Wayne Bank Hires Ryan Ehrhardt as Commercial Loan Officer

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Ehrhardt as Commercial Loan Officer. Ryan will be working out of Wayne Bank’s Pike and Monroe County offices.

As a Commercial Loan Officer, Ryan will partner with area businesses to understand their needs and provide financing solutions that foster growth and strengthen the local economy. His role will focus on building lasting relationships, supporting small business success, and contributing to community development across Wayne Bank’s footprint.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He brings over five years of experience in the financial services industry, including four years in commercial banking. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Chamber of the Northern Poconos and resides in the Lake Wallenpaupack area.

Wayne Bank Donates to Pocono Mountains United Way Supporting Local STEAM*R Program

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has recently contributed to the East Stroudsburg Area School District’s STEAM*R Summer Enrichment Program through the Pocono Mountains United Way and the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).

With its invaluable STEAM*R Program, the East Stroudsburg Area School District provides students at Resica Elementary with the opportunity to foster their interest and proficiency in science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, and reading. The program is free for current East Stroudsburg Area School District students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.

Stacie Ammerman, Resica Elementary School’s STEAM*R Coordinator, and Dr. Tabitha Bradley, Resica’s Director of Elementary Education, accepted a check in the amount of $5,000 from Mr. Donnelly. With this donation, Wayne Bank helps to make the STEAM*R program possible, contributing to an investment in education to shape the future of the community by empowering young minds to innovate, create, and excel.

“Wayne Bank is honored to contribute to the United Way of the Pocono Mountains and the incredible work they do,” said Mr. Donnelly. “It’s rewarding to know that this donation will help provide essential support to Monroe County families, allowing students to develop early on skills and interest in education.”

The gift was made possible because of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Community and Economic Development.

Wayne Bank Hires Valerie A. O’Hare as Corporate Training Manager

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is excited to announce the hiring of Valerie A. O’Hare as Corporate Training Manager.

“I am thrilled to welcome Valerie to the Wayne Bank team. Her extensive training experience will be an asset in guiding our departments as we continue to develop and implement the best possible training practices for our employees,” said Donnelly.

As Corporate Training Manager, Valerie will be responsible for creating and overseeing training programs, including job-specific instruction and compliance/regulatory training. She will also collaborate with various departments to design training initiatives that support the bank’s needs and long-term goals.

With more than 28 years in the banking industry and over a decade of targeted training experience, Valerie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Wayne Bank team.

Valerie graduated from Delaware Valley High School in 1997. She attended PA Bankers Association School of Banking in 2017 and Advanced School of Banking in 2021. An active member of her community, Valerie currently serves on the United Way Community Impact Committees for Pike and Lackawanna counties. She resides in Pike County with her husband Tom.

Wayne Bank Hires Fred Malloy as Senior Vice President and Controller

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce the hiring of Fred Malloy as a Senior Vice President and Controller.

With over three decades of community banking experience and a strong background in accounting operations, he brings a wealth of knowledge that will greatly benefit our organization,” said Donnelly. “Fred’s leadership and expertise make him a valuable addition to our team.”

In his new role, Fred will be working out of Wayne Bank’s corporate office in Honesdale, PA. Fred is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s Accounting Department operations, such as accounts payable, general ledger, accounting systems integration, and taxes. He brings with him over 33 years of community banking experience, positioning him as a valuable leader and source of industry knowledge for the Bank’s Accounting team.

Fred attended State University of New York, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He resides in Clarks Summit, PA, with his wife Malisa and their two daughters, Ally and Nellie.

Wayne Bank Announces Leadership Role in New Business Intelligence Division

Jim Donelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is proud to recognize and announce employee Kayla Dixon as Assistant Vice President Business Intelligence Manager of the Bank’s newest division.

“I’m very excited to welcome Kayla to her new role as Business Intelligence Manager. As our Bank’s newest department, Business Intelligence needs a strong leader with experience, insight, and technical skills – all strengths of Kayla’s. She has already made significant contributions to our recent projects, and I am confident that she will use her talents to spearhead more developments and breakthroughs,” said Donnelly.

Newly introduced to Wayne Bank, the Business Intelligence Division is dedicated to leveraging data to drive smarter, more informed decisions across the organization. With Kayla’s leadership, it will serve as a critical partner in supporting many of the Bank’s technical projects and strategic initiatives.

In this new role, Kayla will use her technical skills and data analytics expertise to both lead and shape the Bank’s Business Intelligence Division. An integral part of Wayne Bank for over twelve years, Kayla has held various roles, including her most recent position as Assistant Vice President and Consumer Loan Officer.

Kayla is actively involved in her community, serving on various school and sports committees. This balance between her professional and personal life helps her maintain a well-rounded perspective in all that she does. She resides in Waymart with her husband, John, and their three children, Finley, Natalie, and Logan.

Wayne Bank Promotes Bridget Kennedy to Bank Officer and Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Bridget Kennedy to Bank Officer and Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager.

“I am proud to announce Bridget’s promotion – her can-do attitude, diligence, and commitment to Wayne Bank make her deserving of this great accomplishment. Bridget is someone whose incredible customer focus and work ethic truly inspire those around her. I am confident in her ability to drive team efficiency and build meaningful client relationships,” said Donnelly.

In her new role, Bridget will be responsible for supporting commercial lenders in managing client relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities. Bridget joined the Bank in May of 2001 and has held many titles during her tenure. With over 27 years of banking experience, she brings a great wealth of knowledge to our Wayne Bank team.

Bridget holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Marywood University. She is an active member of the Scranton community, currently serving as Secretary of the North Penn Charitable Foundation, and Board Member of the Scranton Diocese Catholic Women’s Conference.

Bridget resides in Scranton with her husband, Jim, and her 11-year-old son, James.
