Tickets now on sale for Mystic Pizza at the Scranton Cultural Center The musical Mystic Pizza is coming to the Scranton Cultural Center from October 23-25, and tickets are now on sale. Mystic Pizza: A New Musical delivers the beloved story from the iconic hit film driven by a score packed with unforgettable hits from the ’80s and ’90s. Follow best friends Kat, Daisy, and Jojo as they navigate the complexities of friendship and romance, all while slinging slices at a small-town pizza joint. Scranton Cultural Center hosting Open House event The Scranton Cultural Center is hosting an Open House event on Saturday, August 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at its location on North Washington Avenue. Patrons will be able to “test drive” seats that are available for the upcoming 2026-2027 Broadway In Scranton season. Attendees can sit in various locations throughout the theatre to find the seat that fits them best before purchasing their season ticket. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the 2026-2027 Broadway in Scranton Season and to help patrons purchase their season ticket(s). Season ticket prices for the six-show subscription are $409, $479 and $539. 2026-2027 shows include Mystic Pizza, Beetlejuice, Hadestown, Jersey Boys, Shucked and A Beautiful Noise. Blue Man Group Rescheduled to September Due to an unforeseen local labor shortage, this week’s performances of BLUE MAN GROUP, scheduled for Wednesday, May 18 and Thursday, May 19, 2022 have been rescheduled. The new dates for BLUE MAN GROUP are now Thursday, September 22 and Friday, September 23, 2022. For those currently holding tickets to the Wednesday, May 18, 2022 performance, your tickets will be honored for the Friday, September 23, 2022 performance. For those currently holding tickets to the Thursday, May 19, 2022 performance, your tickets will be honored for the Thursday, September 22, 2022 performance. Patrons can also exchange into either of the September performance dates if needed. Should patrons wish to receive a refund, refunds will be available until Friday, June 17 and available at the point of purchase. If you do not choose this option, your tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.
