Space Time Mead & Cider Works Releases Special Meads for Upcoming Festival Samples will be available, and bottles can be purchased at the Carbondalien Festival Vendor Fair at 20 N Main St, Carbondale, Saturday, November 9th from 11am-5pm. Space Time® Mead & Cider Works will release three limited-edition honey wines commemorating the 50th anniversary of the UFO sighting in Carbondale. The limited releases are “CarbondAlien”, “Take Me to Your Meader”, and “Galactic Gold” sweet honey wines “For our new CarbondAlien Mead, a sweet wine made with orange blossom honey, we commissioned label art from a wonderful local artist, Katie Campbell”, says Dan Schreffler President and winemaker. “Take Me to Your Meader, and Galactic Gold are special because the label art and the wines were made by local amateur mead makers. They turned out fantastic!’ stated Dan.
Save the Date for Fall Winefest Attention wine lovers! Next weekend, Saturday October 5th from Noon until 5pm, Montage Mountain is having their annual Fall Winefest inside and around the main lodge. It’s the perfect way to get out and enjoy a fall day in NEPA as the seasons change. Sample and purchase wine from two dozen wineries, enjoy shopping, food trucks, live music and more as you stroll the festival grounds. Groovefest Ceremonial Keg Tapping The event starts at 1pm on Sep 21st and will have an authentic German menu from a local German food truck, Fraulien Meats and Sweets, special Oktoberfest merch and decor, fall favorites like the special barrel aged marshmallow pumpkin porter, and two Oktoberfest beers; Groove’s Oktoberfest Marzen and Weizenfest both on tap and in four packs, with German music playing throughout the day to celebrate.
