Everhart Museum and Lackawanna County Library System Host Free Jazz Concerts Join us for a free summer concert series with Doug Smith’s Dixieland All-Stars! The Everhart Museum is teaming up with the Lackawanna County Library System to bring music throughout the county, supported by Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. The series includes programs for all ages, and some for children, each with multiple dates, inviting all to enjoy the spirited sound of Dixieland Jazz and learn about its rich history. The Albright Memorial Library Tech Table The Albright Memorial Library now offers a new service called Tech Table for library visitors. Tech Table is designed to help provide on-site and in-person tech support for most digital devices, including smartphones, tablets, eReaders, and laptops. The program is run by the Library’s Tech Lab instructor and is free for anyone to use. No appointment is necessary. Tech Table is available Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-7 PM and Thursdays and Fridays from 1-3 PM at the Albright Memorial Library, 500 Vine Street, Scranton, PA 18509. It is held on the second floor on the Reference Room. Elevator access is available. Video Games Now Available at the Albright Memorial Library The Albright Memorial Library now has video games for people to borrow with their library cards. Games are available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. Popular games available include Roller Coaster Tycoon, Grand Theft Auto, LEGO Harry Potter, Skyrim, and Avengers to name a few.
