The Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania hosting Buddy Walk on October 4

The Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania is hosting its annual Buddy Walk on Sunday, October 4 at 816 Providence Road in Scranton.

Registration begins at noon and the walk itself begins at 1:00 p.m. Adults and kids are welcome to attend. There will be food, entertainment, raffles, children’s events and the ceremonial one-mile fun walk.

Adults can attend for $15, kids 15 and under are $5 and individuals with Down Syndrome can attend for free. You can learn more about the event and register here.

The Buddy Walk started in 1995 to celebrate Down Syndrome awareness.
