Misericordia University hosting Healthcare Symposium on October 23

Misericordia University’s College of Health Sciences and Education is inviting healthcare professionals, educators, students, community leaders and others interested in the future of healthcare to its 2026 Healthcare Symposium: Connected Care: Aligning Education, Innovation & Community Health on Friday, October 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Lemmond Theater. 

Presented with Geisinger as the Presenting Sponsor, this full-day symposium will bring regional and national voices together for inspiring speakers, meaningful conversations, stronger connections and innovative solutions. Attendees will explore topics including health equity, preventive and population health, community-centered care, maternal health and the partnerships shaping the future of healthcare. The day will also feature networking opportunities, panel discussions, breakout sessions and a keynote address from Dr. Elena Ríos, President of the National Hispanic Health Foundation.
