Mary McDermott

Mary McDermott is the IGNITE program manager for The Chamber. In this role, McDermott oversees entrepreneurship programming that supports start-up and small business growth in the region through the IGNITE Program.

McDermott’s journey with The Chamber began as an intern. She returned to the Chamber and served as both the Leadership and Workforce Development assistant and the IGNITE Specialist and Grant Writer before being promoted to her current role.

McDermott previously worked at Lackawanna College as an enrollment counselor.

McDermott received a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
