Mari Potis

Mari Potis is the director of membership and events at The Chamber. In this role since 1998, she is responsible for driving membership growth, corporate sponsorships, signature events, advertising sales.

For more than 25 years, Potis has been an enthusiastic connector and community advocate for the Chamber. Potis served as official community liaison for NBC/Universal’s during the production of The Office, helping bring authentic Scranton culture to the Emmy Award-winning show. She received the only official “Dundie Award” from NBC/Universal executives for her contributions to the show.

Potis has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Bronze and Silver Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) and  the National Association of Women Business Owners Top 25 Women in Business. In addition, she has made multiple presentations on innovative programs to national Chamber audiences.

Deeply rooted in her community, Potis has been a long-standing volunteer in the Abington area, serving countless organizations over the years. She currently serves on the Board of the American Cancer Society.

Potis lives in Clarks Summit with her husband, Frank, and her two children, Dominic and Gabriella.
