A Hands-On Business Experience for Students Ages 11–14

 

About the Camp

Have a big idea? Let’s build it.

Entrepreneur Camp is a two-day, hands-on career exploration experience designed to introduce students to the world of entrepreneurship. Participants will learn what it takes to start and grow a business while working directly with real entrepreneurs from The Chamber’s IGNITE program.

Through interactive activities, team challenges, and guided instruction, students will turn their ideas into business concepts—learning how innovation, creativity, and problem-solving come together in the real world.

What Students Will Learn

• How to develop and pitch a business idea
• The basics of branding, marketing, and customer engagement
• Financial fundamentals like pricing and profit
• How entrepreneurs identify problems and create solutions
• Communication and teamwork skills essential for business success

Program Experience

This camp is designed to be engaging, fast-paced, and collaborative. Students will:

• Work in teams to create their own business concept
• Participate in interactive workshops led by local entrepreneurs
• Gain insight into real businesses through the IGNITE program
• Present their ideas in a final pitch showcase
