Work Zone Memorial at the Welcome Center in Great Bend

Dunmore – PennDOT and the Welcome Center recently held a safety day at the Welcome Center in Great Bend. PennDOT’s Workers’ Memorial, which features the names of the 89 PennDOT workers who have been killed in the line of duty, was on display at the center.  Each cross bears the name and the date of death of each fallen employee. The memorial was created by workers in PennDOT´s District 3 office in Montoursville.
