Tobyhanna Army Depot to Host Job Fair

Tobyhanna Army Depot will conduct a job fair on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Building 2, Bay 1, Myer Street.

Resumes will be accepted for a number of positions with the potential for an on-the-spot interview – Air conditioning mechanic, electrician, electrical worker, electronics mechanic, electronics worker, fabric worker, general equipment mechanic, general equipment repairer, industrial worker helper, machinist, machine tool operator, painter, painter helper, sandblaster, sheet metal mechanic, sheet metal worker, and welder. The positions may be filled as term, temporary or permanent.

Tobyhanna Army Depot human resource specialists will be on site to review qualifications and answer questions related to the hiring process. Applicants need to bring hardcopies of their resume, transcripts, certifications, and if applicable, documents that verify prior military experience, and any additional information.

The Tobyhanna Army Depot main gate is located directly off Interstate 380, exit 8 in northeast Pennsylvania. Visitors must present valid identification card with photo, a U.S. passport, or a passport from another country that has been cleared by the State Department to the security guard on duty. Vehicles entering the depot are subject to search. Parking will be available in the main lot. There will be signs and security personnel directing visitors to the designated location
