Scranton Chamber Congratulates Mark Volk on His Retirement as President of Lackawanna College

The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce extends best wishes to Mark Volk on his retirement as president of Lackawanna College.  His leadership at Lackawanna College was nothing short of extraordinary – guiding the institution through growth and restructuring in virtually all aspects of programing and operations. Mark’s vision has taken the College to new heights as a critical educational resource serving the students and citizens of northeast Pennsylvania.

The Chamber has also directly benefitted from Mark’s leadership. From the time he joined the Board in 2006, through his tenure as Treasurer and ultimately Chairman, he brought thoughtful, clear-minded direction to the organization during a critical period of leadership transition. With both the Chamber and Leadership Lackawanna he served selflessly as a counselor, advisor, mentor and friend to all. Our Chamber and community owe Mark Volk our undying gratitude and respect.
