Marywood University to Hold Senior Wind Band Festival Concerts

Marywood University’s music, theatre, and dance department in the College of Arts and Sciences will host its Senior Wind Band Celebration Festival Concerts on Saturday, February 2, 2019. The free concerts will take place in the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts on the University’s campus.

The Celebration Band will begin the concerts at 7 p.m., led by conductor Jay Romines. At 7:30 p.m., T. André Feagin will conduct the Celebration Band. The evening will conclude with the Honor Band taking the stage at 8 p.m., led by conductor, Jason Noble.

The Wind Band Celebration Festival Concerts include numerous local and regional students from the following high schools: Abington Heights High School, Blue Ridge High School, Coughlin High School, Crestwood High School, Delaware Valley High School, Dunmore High School, East Stroudsburg Area High School North and South, Elk Lake High School, Forest City Regional High School, Hazleton Area High School, Honesdale High School, Lackawanna Trail High School, Lakeland High School, Mountain View High School, North Pocono High School, Pocono Mountain East and West High Schools, Port Jervis High School, Scranton High School, Susquehanna Community High School, Tunkhannock Area High School, Valley View High School, Wallenpaupack Area High school, Wyoming Area Secondary Center, and Wyoming Valley West High School.
