Job Order Contracting Networking Fair Has Been Scheduled Members News February 27, 2019 Greetings DGS Self-Certified and Verified Small Business and Small Diverse Business Owners! The JOC Program has an annual estimated value of small business construction opportunities totaling $50 – $70 Mil annually! Here is An Opportunity To Do Business with the Commonwealth! The PA Department of General Services (DGS) has identified your company as a DGS Self-Certified and/or Verified construction contractor, supplier or design professional, or maybe you are a small or small diverse firm considering doing business with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are excited to extend an invitation for your firm to participate in upcoming Job Order Contracting (JOC) Networking Fairs. Participation will afford attendees the opportunity to network and market their goods and services directly to the awarded JOC program general construction, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical prime contractors for each of the six regions of the commonwealth. The JOC program will provide prime and subcontracting opportunities in construction (all disciplines) and professional design for agencies undertaking construction, renovation and maintenance projects with a total value of $300,000 or less. We are including some helpful tips to assist in your efforts to connect with awardees at this event (see the attached document). Please come prepared with marketing materials and be prepared to discuss your goods and services in a five-to-seven (5-7) minute pitch with prime contractors!
