Fresh Faces: Mercury Public Affairs Chamber News March 5, 2019 Mercury Public Affairs Dunmore, PA www.mercuryllc.com Member since 2018 Hello my name is… Vincent Galko What inspired you to start your business? In 2011, having spent several years working in politics and at all levels government, I was looking to transition to a career in consulting and for a firm that woud maximize my experience, network and talents to the benefit of my clients. I knew Mercury as a high-stakes public strategy firm. That provides results for the world’s most successful companies, leading advocacy groups, governments, non-governmental organizations, and prominent public and political figures. It was the right move for me and over the years we have produced several public relations, lobbying and political victories for our clients. What do you like about doing business locally? This region is full of good people with a strong work ethic. We share the common goals of growing our businesses, reinvigorating the Scranton market and giving back to the community whenever possible. Why did you decide to join the Chamber? I knew Bob Durkin and the Chamber staff do a great job working with members and the community. Mercury’s state, national and international network will bring a unique blend of capabilities to the Scranton area and to Chamber members. Joining just made sense.
