Fortune Ranks Comcast NBCUniversal #3 on ‘Best Big Companies to Work For’ List

Fortune has ranked Comcast NBCUniversal #3 on its “Best Big Companies to Work For” list. The ranking was released in conjunction with the annual 2019 FORTUNE “100 Best Companies to Work For” list, where Comcast NBCUniversal was also recognized, according to global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work and Fortune.

It’s an honor to be on this list, alongside many other impressive companies. This recognition is a reflection of all of our fantastic employees around the world. From a range of professions, including engineering and software design to create products our customers love; to news, entertainment, film, and theme park production – our employees bring their passion and commitment to work every day, building an inclusive environment where all ideas can be shared and heard.

The FORTUNE Best Big Companies to Work For list recognized companies with over 100,000 US employees who have received the Great Place to Work Certification.  Great Place to Work ranked the FORTUNE Best Big Companies to Work For based on anonymous employee survey feedback and an assessment of each company’s benefits programs and policies. Survey respondents rated their workplace cultures on 60-plus elements, including trust in managers, compensation, fairness, camaraderie, and workplace traits linked to innovation.  The ranking accounts for the experiences of all employees, including women, people of color, LGBT individuals, older team members, and disabled employees.

Among the survey findings for Comcast NBCUniversal employees:

• 90 percent say this is a great place to work.
• 94 percent say when you join the company, you are made to feel welcome.
• 92 percent say they are able to take time off from work when they think it’s necessary.
• 92 percent say when they look at what they’ve accomplished, they feel a sense of pride.
