Everhart Museum Offers Free Virtual Classroom Sessions

Members News

The Everhart Museum is hosting FREE Virtual Classroom Series. The classes are multi-generational and most activities can be done with children as young as kindergarten. The series teaches the intersection of history, food, and art through the lens of the Everhart Museum’s permanent collection and temporary exhibitions and as a way to connect with one another to learn about culture, collaborate, create art, and have fun!

Presenters are the Museum’s Manager of Educational Programs, Sarah Sutton, Chef James Bolus, and author/illustrator Lindsay Barrett George.

Each class will include a detailed overview of the class material, an at-home prep and materials list, worksheets, and a 20-25 minute instructional video. At the end of the week, join museum staff for a live Show & Tell chat via Google Meet to ask questions or share your creations!
