ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Attorney Lisa Lori is Marywood’s 13th president and the university’s first layperson.
A 1993 graduate of Marywood, Attorney Lori earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Design. Prior to graduating from Marywood, Attorney Lori started her own apparel line in women’s fashion under the label Fioretti USA. As a young entrepreneur, she sold her apparel line in stores nationwide. After her fashion line was acquired, she went on to complete a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in trial advocacy from Temple University.
As an Attorney, Lori became a partner with Klehr, Harrison, Harvey and Brazburg, LLP in Philadelphia. An accomplished and powerful litigator, she earned recognition as a leading attorney in Pennsylvania by Chambers USA from 2021 to 2023, and represented national and international businesses, higher education institutions, and healthcare providers.
In 2014, Attorney Lori became a member of Marywood University’s Board of Trustees and two years later appointed Chair of the Board. She is committed to further expanding Marywood’s scope of influence in higher education so that a broader range of students can come to know and love the University as much as she does. Working diligently to advance Marywood’s life-changing mission, she collaborates with campus and community partners to ensure that Marywood University is a leading academic institution for today’s students and future generations, as well as an economic engine for the region.
