Thursday, October 29
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
This session will focus on setting boundaries for employee speech in the workplace. Whether its political commentary, social protests, complaints about their employer, or posting controversial remarks on social media, employees are speaking out now more than ever. Oftentimes, this leaves their employers facing decisions on whether (and how) to address comments made by their employees. This session will focus on when, whether, and how employers can address the issues raised by employees’ speech in the workplace. Presented by McNees attorneys Langdon Ramsburg, Mark Hipple, Micah Saul and Austin Wolfe.
