Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Offers COVID-19 Patient Financial Aid Program April 7, 2020 Every day, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) hears from cancer patients and caregivers who are struggling to adjust to a new normal – emotionally, physically and financially – during the COVID-19 pandemic. They need our help now more than ever, so we’re taking bold action to ensure that blood cancer patients and families continue to have access to lifesaving treatments, support and care during this crisis. We are proud to launch The LLS COVID-19 Patient Financial Aid Program, which will provide relief to blood cancer patients who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of their disease and circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, eligible patients will receive an individual one-time $250 stipend to help with non-medical expenses, such as food, housing, utilities, transportation and other needs. Patients do not need to have a COVID-19 diagnosis and there are no income criteria to qualify. This program is one of the many patient support and financial services which we provide to our patients year round. If you or someone you know needs help, we encourage you to APPLY HERE.
