Thomas Graham has joined The Wright Center as Content Manager. In this new role, Mr. Graham will join the Communications Department in planning and developing strategic internal and external communication, media outreach, community relations and social media management. With more than 20 years’ experience in journalism, Graham joins The Wright Center from Times-Shamrock Communications, where he most recently served as the organization’s Community Newspaper Group Managing Editor.
Kathleen Uhranowsky, RN, has joined The Wright Center as the Director of Clinical Research. In this new role, Ms. Uhranowsky will be responsible for coordinating all phases of clinical studies and will lead a research team to successfully manage and execute clinical trials. Ms. Uhranowsky joins the center with more than 10 years’ experience in coordinating clinical research studies.
Catherine Harrington, DNP, CRNP, has joined The Wright Center as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. In this role, Ms. Harrington will work within a multidisciplinary team and perform psychiatric evaluations, managing medication and provide patient/family psychotherapy and education. With more than 30 years of nursing experience,she recently held a faculty position at Wilkes University teaching psychiatric mental health nursing. She has been a psychiatric clinical instructor specializing in psychiatric mental health at First Hospital Wyoming Valley, Psychiatric Nursing at Mental Health Unit at Mercy Hospital (Nanticoke), Clearbrook Rehabilitation Unit, Danville State Psychiatric Hospital, Moses Taylor Hospital Senior Mental Health, Clark Summit State Psychiatric Hospital and Scranton Counseling Center.

Misericordia University recently named Charles Richardson, Jr., D.P.S., as the dean of the College of Business. Dr. Richardson comes to Misericordia University after serving as the dean of the School of Business and associate professor of marketing at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. During his career in higher education, he has also served as an assistant and associate professor of marketing at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia, and as a visiting professor at William Patterson University’s College of Business in Wayne, New Jersey. He was also an ACE Fellow at New Jersey City University.
Marywood University recently named Christina R. Brundage, M.S., Ph.D. student, to the role of career engagement specialist. Ms. Brundage began her career at Marywood University working with students, staff and faculty in the role of technology trainer, where she was instrumental in helping students achieve their goals.
The Career Development Center, formerly the Career Services Office, works with various student clubs and organizations, holds live webinars, and uses software that enhances student, alumni, and employer engagement, as well as showcasing alumni achievements.
Melanie Brock has been named Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant-Licensed (COTA-L) Specialist for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program for Lackawanna College. Ms. Brock holds an Occupational Therapy Assistant Associate’s Degree from Penn State University.
Aaron Mattern has been named an admissions adviser for Lackawanna College. Mr. Mattern graduated from Marywood University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and from the University of Valley Forge with a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership.
Daniel Regan has been named an admissions adviser for Lackawanna College. Mr. Regan previously served as assistant men’s basketball coach at West Chester University. He graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Studies.
Dr. Gregory Borowski and his endocrinology practice have joined Geisinger and will be called Geisinger Endocrinology Scranton. The practice will remain in its current location at 3 W. Olive St. in Scranton.
Board certified in endocrinology and metabolic medicine, Dr. Borowski has been in practice for 34 years, most recently as a member of Horizon Medical Group. Past president of the Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Diabetes Association and the Lackawanna County Medical Society, Dr. Borowski was also a key developer of the Leahy Clinic for the Uninsured at the University of Scranton.
Cynthia D. Burdick, Assistant Vice President, Bank Secrecy Act Officer at The Dime Bank, recently completed the Independent Community Bankers of America Community Banker University’s Bank Secrecy Act / Anti Money Laundering (BSA/AML) Institute.
