Ellen Kyzer to Speak at Empower, the NEPA Women’s Leadership Conference

The Chamber is pleased to announce that Ellen Kyzer will be a featured speaker at empower, the Northeast PA Women’s Leadership Conference, which will be held on Thursday, April 19.

Ellen Kyzer has been the chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania since 2016 and has nearly 20 years of leadership experience in the non-profit and fundraising field. Having participated in Girl Scouts since her childhood in Pike County, Ms. Kyzer credits the organization with developing her strength as a leader. Prior to her current position, Ms. Kyzer served as the chief executive officer of the American Red Cross Central Pennsylvania Region and held leadership roles at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, the Greater Harrisburg Foundation and Goodwill Keystone Area. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Urban Studies and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Kyzer is also a graduate of the Leadership Harrisburg Program and a Central Penn Business Journal “40 under 40” award recipient.
