LEADERSHIP LACKAWANNA

2010/2011 PROGRAM OF WORK

MISSION: “TO ENHANCE THE LEADERSHIP SKILLS OF THE AREA’S EMERGING LEADERS AND TO INTRODUCE THEM TO THE CHALLENGES FACING LACKAWANNA COUNTY SO THAT THEY CAN BETTER SERVE THE COMMUNITY THROUGH VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES.”

NEW: Enhance the Executive Program through volunteer participation.

Identify new social media to augment marketing and communication efforts.

ONGOING: Evaluate community needs for class projects.

Hold a session with key volunteers to improve the Leadership Lackawanna program and meet the needs of participants.

Conduct end-of-session discussion panel to evaluate the 2010/2011 program.

Encourage active participation from the board of directors and its various committees.
