The Award for Excellence in Professional Development recognizes an organization that is committed to growth through the professional development and training of its employees. Nominees are evaluated on the strength, creativity, and success of their workplace professional development and training.
Judging Criteria:Nominees must answer the following questions describing their workplace professional development and training:
• How many employees do you have?
• How many employees participate in professional development and training?
• Why do you offer professional development and training to your employees?
• What types of professional development and training take place?
• Why do your employees participate in professional development and training?
• Do you offer incentives to your employees to participate? If so, please describe the incentives.
• Aside from various professional development and training offerings, do you have a professional development and training program? If so, please describe the program and its objectives.
• Have your professional development and training efforts or program been a success?
• How have you measured this success (quantitative data is encouraged)?
Nomination Submission Instructions: Organizations can nominate themselves or can be nominated by another organization. Professional development and training can be offered by the nominating organization or for the nominating organization through another organization(s).
This award will be presented at the Chamber's Annual Membership Luncheon in October.
All Nominations are due by Friday, September 19, 2008
