The Annual Job Fair will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
The job fair has continued to grow since its inception in 1990. Job Fair 2010 attracted more than 5,000 job seekers and over 80 regional employers participated.
Skills in Scranton partners with the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry, the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, the The Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Investment Boards of Lackawanna & Luzerne/Schuylkill Counties. Skills in Scranton also partners with The Times-Tribune,The Citizens Voice, Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal, and The Standard Speaker to present a bigger and better Job Fair.
There are four good reasons to participate in Job Fair 2011:
