Job Fair

The Annual Job Fair was held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Mohegan Sun Arean at Casey Plaza

The job fair has continued to grow since its inception in 1990. Job Fair 2008 attracted more than 5,000 visitors, 135 regional employers participated, and 168 area residents secured full-time employment.

Skills in Scranton partners with the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry, the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, the The Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Investment Boards of Lackawanna & Luzerne/Schuylkill Counties. Skills in Scranton also partners with The Times-Tribune,The Citizens Voice, Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal, and The Standard Speaker to present a bigger and better Job Fair.
