The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce held the second
annual Chamber Invitational Golf Classic on Monday, September 10, 2007
starting at 11:30 AM at
Glenmaura National Golf Club,
100 Glenmaura National Boulevard, Moosic, PA. The Chamber
Invitational Golf Classic was sponsored by
Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
The Chamber Invitational Golf Classic begins at 11:30 AM with
registration and a luncheon, which was sponsored by
Sprint.
The golf classic begins at 12:30 PM with a shotgun start,
and will be played using a captain and crew format. Golfers will
have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages
throughout the course on member sponsored snack carts sponsored by
Fidelity Deposit & Discount Bank.
Golfers also have the opportunity to participate in longest drive and
closest to the pin contests, which were sponsored by
Solid Cactus,
and a hole-in-one contest, which was sponsored by
Motorworld Automotive Group.
At the conclusion of the Chamber Invitational Golf Classic, golfers
and guests will assemble for complimentary cocktails and
hors d’oeuvres at 5:00 PM followed by dinner and awards, which are
presented by Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. The cocktail hour was
sponsored by First Liberty Bank & Trust.
Opportunities are available for local businesses to position their
companies in front of prominent business and community leaders
through sponsorship marketing at the event.
Admission is $175 for lunch, golf, cocktail hour, and dinner.
Chamber members may also choose to attend the cocktail hour and
dinner for $60.
Space is limited to the first 120 paid reservations.
The deadline for reservations is September 5, first come, first served.
