Leadership Lackawanna is accepting applications for the Core Program Class of 2018. This will mark the organization’s 35th graduating class. The deadline to apply is Sunday, April 30.
In the 10-month Core Program, participants gain leadership, interpersonal and managerial skills, as well as an enhanced understanding of the issues relevant to the Greater Scranton area. Members of the class also devote a large portion of their time to develop and implement community projects, which enhances their leadership abilities, fosters teamwork, and benefits local non-profit organizations.
Applications will be accepted from candidates who live or work in Lackawanna County. Individuals who do not live or work in Lackawanna County will be considered if availability permits. Multiple applications from the same company will be considered based on availability. The cost is $1,350, with partial scholarships available on a limited basis. Optional graduate credit programs are available to Leadership Lackawanna participants in cooperation with Marywood University and Keystone College.
